Whiting Law Group Files Lawsuit in Fatal Truck Crash in Wadsworth

Whiting Law Group filed a lawsuit in Federal Court in Chicago, Illinois against defendants, Jose Luis Bugarin, Bugarin Trucking, and J.L. Shandy Transportation of Indiana, on behalf of the estate of Giselle McComb, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Whiting Law Group was retained for this case based on their extensive experience and success in semi-truck related collisions.
This lawsuit stems from a fatal crash on Route 41 in Wadsworth, Illinois, at the intersection of Route 173. A young woman with a promising future, Giselle McComb, 22, was killed when her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck being driven by Jose Luis Bugarin. Eager to protect the rights of the plaintiff, and to properly preserve evidence in the case, Timothy M. Whiting filed the lawsuit within days of being retained as counsel.

She was in the process of applying to graduate school for her masters in forensic psychology and had aspirations to obtain her doctorate in clinical psychology. She was a loving and committed daughter, sister and friend to many. She is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Janice, and her younger siblings, Jonathan, Kendrick and Kasi. To see her life end in such a tragic crash is truly sad. My firm will work relentlessly to ensure that we obtain full justice for her family for their terrible loss.”
